AmCham Montenegro is dedicated to improving the business environment as well as the social environment in Montenegro. AmCham established a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Committee to address important social issues in Montenegrin society. The Committee has defined areas of CSR involvement of AmCham Montenegro in the field of education, protection of marginal groups and environmental protection.
Thanksgiving Charity Cocktail will become traditionally organized as a donation initiative, supporting different goal each year defined by CSR Committee. AmCham successfully launched seven generation of AmCham Internship Program for final year university students, having placed so far more than 140 interns, within various AmCham member companies and partnering organizations for a period of three months.
Promoting CSR among business community is one of the issues that are high on AmCham’s agenda as one of the most important issues in improving the business environment in Montenegro.
The Corporate Social Responsibility Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro (AmCham) is established to lead its members in improving the business environment of Montenegro with the accent on corporate social responsibility.
The goals of this Committee include working with international and local, Montenegrin companies and institutions to include them in AmCham’s CSR activities. Likewise, the Committee is active in raising public awareness and educating all AmCham members and relevant authorities and institutions about the importance of being socially responsible. AmCham CSR Committee cooperates with other organizations to promote CSR initiatives, undertake, plan, and implement specific socially beneficial programs and activities.
