INSTRUCTIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION

 

Thank you for your interest in membership in the American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro. In order to apply for membership with the American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro, please follow the instructions below:

1. Review the Membership Policy and make sure your company meets the criteria for admission.
2. Completely fill in and sign the enclosed Membership Application Forms.
3. Read the AmCham Montenegro Bylaws (located in the “About Us” section of the AmCham website (www.amcham.me) and sign the attached Membership Agreement Form on the page 6 of the Membership Application.
4. Read the AmCham Montenegro Code of Business Conduct and sign the statement on pg. 6.
5. Submit a copy of your company’s Registration or an excerpt from the Central Registry.
6. Submit your company’s logo in the vector format either via email or on the optical disk.
7. Enclose a brief statement about your organization (approximately 1200 characters).
8. Enclose a brief Motivation Statement for being an AmCham member (approximately 1200 characters).
9. If your company belongs to the category “Majority-owned Montenegrin Companies” you need to obtain two letters of recommendation from current AmCham members; one of the two letters of recommendation must be from an incumbent Board member.

Submit these documents to the AmCham Executive Office via mail, fax or email:

Your application will be reviewed and voted upon at the next upcoming monthly Board of Governors meeting. The results of your application will be communicated to you via mail and/or phone within five days of the Board Meeting. If approved, you will be sent a welcome letter with further instructions for completing the Membership Application process.
