Prime Minister Djukanovic Addresses the AmCham Business Luncheon Audience in March
Prime Minister Milo Djukanovic was the Honorary Guest and
Keynote Speaker at AmCham’s Business Luncheon on March 8, 2010. During his
keynote address to over 90 members and guests of the American Chamber of
Commerce in Montenegro, Mr. Djukanovic discussed his recent trip to the United
States and how it contributed to building an already strong relationship
between Washington DC and Podgorica.
The Prime Minister also spoke about the measures
that the Montenegrin Government is taking in order to develop the private
sector, which he identified as a priority for his administration. He stated
that, “In order to be successful in accomplishing this goal, we believe that we
must have a consistent, systematic approach”. “We must intensify measures of
security for investors, strengthen property laws, and further advance economic
freedom [in Montenegro]”, added Mr. Djukanovic.
