1st Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting

The Board of Governors has decided to summon the Extraordinary General Assembly Meeting on Nov 19 before the official launch of the Chamber with two goals:

1. Amendments to the Bylaws: Since AmCham Montenegro is in its infancy stage, the Board has recognized a few areas where the Bylaw can slightly be improved. They will prepare and present a concise proposal with several amendments to the General Assembly.

2. Develop and vote in the AmCham's Action Plan for 2008: The Board would like to generate dialog between the founding members, to define the expectations, set goals and objectives and put together concrete Program of Work for 2009.

Such program of work serves multiple purposes such as:

·         Bringing all members together to coordinate their ideas, unite efforts and act jointly

·         Giving legitimacy to the Board to decisively implement the Program of Work

·         Providing reference for future performance indicators

·         Communicating publically AmCham’s goals and objectives
