Mission, Goals and Activities
AmCham is dedicated to promoting mutual cooperation and friendship between Montenegro and United States through trade, investment and economic development. We strive to advance American commercial interests, as well as interests of international, local and other forward looking companies that stand for responsible corporate citizenship and share our values. Goals: - To be fully self sustainable and financially stable
- To build institutional capacity to better serve interests of member companies
- To serve as an information point and a center of expertise for American and local member companies
- To promote Montenegro and advantages of its emerging market to potential foreign investors
- To support Montenegro's ties with the European Union and its membership in the World Trade Organization
- To become a strategic business advisor to the government in overcoming obstacles to doing business
- To uphold the highest standards of commerce and promote "good corporate citizenship" and model business practices
- To enhance the image of its members
- To maintain strong ties with the US Embassy in Podgorica
