The American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro will host a business luncheon with the Minister of Finance of Montenegro, Mr. Milorad Katnic, PhD. The AmCham Business Luncheon will be held on May 11, 2012, with registration beginning at 12:00 p.m.
Luncheon topics will focus on Minster Katnic’s recent visit to the United States, actions that the Ministry of Finance is taking to resolve business challenges, and the Ministry’s strategy for the second half of 2012 and 2013.

The featured speaker for the upcoming AmCham Business Luncheon, to be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, is the Minister of Economy of Montenegro, Mr. Vladimir Kavaric, PhD.
The AmCham Business Luncheon is open to members and guests of the American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro. Seating is limited and will be conducted on a first-come, first-serve basis with AmCham members having priority. Please register early.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro will hold its annual General Assembly meeting on June 29th, 2011, in order to conduct elections for every position on the AmCham Board of Governors. The General Assembly is open to AmCham Montenegro members only.

AmCham Montenegro and the Ministry of Economy of Montenegro will conduct a roundtable discussion on energy efficiency in the private sector. The roundtable is designed to explain to executives and managers of AmCham member companies about current trends and changes to regulation, including incentive measures, that would make implementation of energy efficiency programs more attractive to businesses.
Confirmed presenters for the round table are Ms. Dragica Sekulic, Deputy Minister of Economy, Dr. Igor Kovacevic and Ms. Lucija Rakocevic from the Department of Renewable Energy Sources within the Ministry of Economy’s Energy Sector. Also speaking with be Mr. Tomo Zizic, Chief Operating Officer, Atlas Group, and Mr. Ljubisa Boskovic, Sistem doo.

AmCham Montenegro is organizing a Clean & Green volunteer event at the Dušan Korać Elementary School in Bijelo Polje. This volunteer activity will bring together AmCham members and partners to assist a local school with cleaning its grounds, painting its walls and fences, and planting trees & shrubs.
