AmCham Members Work on Self Time Management

AmCham Montenegro, in cooperation with Ernst & Young, organized the “Self Time Management” workshop for its members. This is the first in the series of workshops organized by AmCham Montenegro which will focus on improving individual professional skills of its members’ employees. During this two-hour workshop, conducted by Ms. Sonja Jovanović, an expert in the field of human resources from Ernst & Young, participants had the opportunity to learn effective methods and techniques for organizing their time and priorities.

Bearing in mind that time is the most valuable resource that one owns in the modern world; self-time management represents a real challenge for all professionals. Due to the dynamic pace of life, more frequent use of technology in business and personal time, we are often in conflict with scheduled commitments. The ability to organize time in the best way can significantly affect business success and career.

Therefore, workshop participants learned about the concept of time management as one of the most important skills in business, as well as other life circumstances. Also, they learned about the importance of self-discipline, proper goal setting, as well as the Covey’s matrix of time management. Finally, participants learned about identifying the most common situations of time loss, which is the biggest cause of decline in productivity at work.

Due to the great interest in this workshop, AmCham Montenegro invites all interested individuals and companies to apply and participate in one of the following workshops. The information on the planned activities will be made available via our website or on our Facebook/Twitter page.
