Within the framework of the Partnership for Better Business Environment Program (PBBE) a meeting of the PBBE Committee for Labor Relations was held at the premises of AmCham Montenegro. At today’s meeting, representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce presented the Positioning paper of the AmCham Labor Relations Committee that contains the general views of the AmCham business community in relation to labor legislation in Montenegro. In addition to the representatives of the AmCham Montenegro member companies, the meeting was attended by a representative of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, Marina Vučićević, a member of the working group for the drafting of the Law on Labor, who introduced to the AmCham Labor Relations Committee members with the progress of the working group in drafting the Labor Law. On this occasion, the need for timely inclusion of the AmCham business community in the process of creating labor legislation that largely shapes the business environment was emphasized.
