Prepare for the Holistic Brain Leader!

Today, AmCham Montenegro hosted a lecture entitled “The Leadership Brain: How to lead, motivate and inspire your employees’ brains?” held by Dr Nikolaos Dimitriadis from City College, International Faculty of the University of Sheffield. About 20 AmCham members had the opportunity to learn more about innovative management styles from a certified Neuromarketer by SalesBrain USA and an award winning communications professional during a lecture on modern leadership.

The focus of the lecture was on understanding how brain and sub-consciousness impact our behavior on different management or corporate level. Neuroscience has enabled us to get quite an insight in what drives motivation in our employees and how we should use this knowledge towards creating an inspiring organizational culture.

Exploring various examples such as Zappos, The Home Depot, Airbnb and many more, Nikolaos how authenticity, pride, attachment and fun are the most important factors in making a successful business. Moreover, fun has been identified as the single factor which determines innovation. This clearly shows how management, also known as a thought technology, needs to change in order to motivate employees to be more engaged at work.

AmCham members had the opportunity to hear why people are the most valuable asset of any company and how the introverted pyramid model works better than the traditional one. We can conclude by saying that nowadays economy is basically an intangible economy and its value is created by people! So that’s why developing a simulative working environment and culture should be the number one task of any company leader in the world.
